The Youngest Yet!

Meet Sawyer.

The youngest baby I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.

He was just FIVE days old when I took these!

So, so precious.

He’s also the youngest of four children–so we all know you’re destined to be laid back, right, Sawyer?

I’m not sure any fourth baby has that choice. :-)

He was pretty laid back when we took these pictures–he even went for a picture I’ve wanted to do for a long time now!

My favorite!

Here’s to babies staying little as long as they possibly can!

Thanks, Sawyer. You’re so obviously loved!

Dixon: 6-ish Months

Remember Dixon?

Of course you do–how could you forget a face like this?

Having recently mastered the art of sitting up on his own, it was time for more pictures!

Be still my heart…

Okay, fair warning: if you don’t have baby fever, you might get it after this!

I told you so.

He really is the sweetest boy, loved by everyone!

And just so handsome, it’s ridiculous.

Thanks, Dixon–you’re the best!

A year ago, this little guy was just coming into the world.

Now look at him!

I think he knows he’s loved.

He’s amazing–walking all by himself!

He just makes you smile, doesn’t he?

Happy Birthday, Nicholas!

First of 2012…

What a great way to start a new year! This family is close friends of ours and I’ve had the pleasure of taking their pictures three times now.

Today we met with three goals.

One: take a picture of this guy, Mr. Six Months.

Adorable, right?

Can you believe he had an ear infection this whole time? He was so sweet!

Two: get some fun, updated family shots.

(The wind was RIDICULOUS, as you can see on their faces!)

And three: document this boy’s CRAZY growing–he’s FOUR now!

I think we met and exceeded those goals!

Can that count for my New Year’s Resolutions?

Love them all–so fun!

Last of 2011…

Hello, friends! I’m a bit behind in my blogging, but I HAD to share these sweet newborn pictures!

Meet Landon.

You may remember him and his family–we met in November to take maternity pictures and he came a month later.

Just pure sweetness.

The best early Christmas present this family could ask for!

Thanks, Landon, for ending my year on a sweet note.

BFFs

And by that, I mean Nathan and Baby Margie, of course!

Margie was woken up from her beauty sleep, so she was cracking us up with her facial expressions!

But I think she recovered nicely.

I love this one! She is most happy when “standing”!

Or in her swing!

I think she’s been good this year, Santa!

We love you, Margie!

(And just because this is hilarious…)

Haha!

So taking pictures for any Mama is a bit intimidating…

But for a Mama who knows her way around a camera? Amazingly intimidating!

Good things her kids are so cute!

She must train them or something!

She’s not too shabby in front of the camera, either!

Merry Christmas!

Fun fake snow fight and all!

Aren’t they lovely?

Being friends with people since high school is kinda amazing–I grew up with Nick and Courtney as they dated in high school and was eventually in their wedding. Now they have two children–crazy!

I got to spend the morning with them, their kiddos, and Courtney’s sweet brother, Mom & Dad.

I can’t believe these children are this big!

(possibly my favorite picture)

They are definitely a lot of fun!

And really good looking, too!

This little Firecracker just turned TWO–I was THERE, in the hospital, the day she was born! Unbelievable!

Practically perfect in every way.

Love you guys!

The BEST kind of animation

…is the kind supplied by people! And this family does not disappoint!

Can someone please tell me when this girl grew up? I think we blinked and here she is!

Never fails to make me smile!

Pure entertainment–and those eyes!

I love making Moms & Dads pose–they always feel silly, but I PROMISE, their children will thank them for it one day!

Don’t they just look like they fell out of the J Crew catalog? Ridiculous!

And, just keepin’ it real!

Love you guys! Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek!

Six one way…

Here’s what happens when you have twins first–

Every time after that, when you have just one child, that baby seems so easy!

So you just keep having more. ;-)

At least that’s what Mom told me once.

Aren’t they beautiful children?

Ready to welcome precious Littlest Brother here in a few months!

I won’t share their Christmas themed photos–you might see one on a Christmas card coming to you soon!

(This was a special request shot)

Thanks, friends–love you guys!
